SD I: Improve enrollment, retention, and completion for High School Learners; Traditional Learners; Out-of-Area Learners; and Adult learners.
Organizing our planning efforts around our target markets will focus JCC on its students and fulfill the college’s vision, mission, and values. Our planning efforts will be based on metrics and proven strategies for each target market and deepen our understanding of the opportunities and challenges we must address together in getting students to the finish line.
SDII: Strengthen the critical support areas that will positively impact enrollment, retention, and completion including, Product, Technology, Customer Service, and Marketing/Outreach.
Improving enrollment, retention, and completion requires critical changes to the ways in which JCC determines in-demand, quality learning experiences (i.e., product); the use of technologies to deliver and support learning; raising the bar and creating a culture of “exceptional” customer service and enhancing JCC’s reputation as an inclusive, innovative, and exciting place to learn and work; and adapting marketing and outreach strategies tailored to each target market.
SDIII: Develop a financial plan to position the college for future stability.
JCC will develop and implement a comprehensive, future-focused financial plan that maximizes resources and positions the college for stability and predictability in its fundraising, budgeting, and planning functions.
SDIV: Build collaboration around shared goals.
JCC will leverage its assets with public and private partner agencies and organizations in the region to achieve shared goals.
